You’ll never have a need to shout, “Fore!” at a Polar Bear on an Alaskan golf course. The most northerly course is the North Star Golf Course just outside Fairbanks, far south of Polar Bear habitat. There are 25 courses in Alaska, and the most westerly is located on remote Kodiak Island. There are 2 courses there, a Coast Guard Course and ominously named Bear Valley, a public 9-hole course. The most favored course in the state is the Creek Course at Moose Run in Fort Richardson.
